The Colorado Veterans Resource Coalition (CVRC) is a 501(c)3 organization that provides safe, and community-based services for single veterans who are homeless and/or suffer from chronic mental illness. This program serves qualified single veterans (Honorable or General Under Honorable Conditions discharge) without regard to age, gender, race, religion, ethnicity or sexual orientation. CVRC helps homeless veterans get back on their feet and step back into the community.
CVRC's Crawford House is a 90 day program that provides safe temporary housing for single veterans in the Colorado Springs area who are homeless and assists them in finding permanent housing and employment.
Since the CVRC started providing temporary housing and services in 2001, they have helped over 2,192 homeless veterans, of which 81% successfully completed their program requirements and moved into their own homes.
First we would like to thank you for your faithful support of the Colorado Veterans Resource Coalition and the Crawford House. After 22 years of assisting our Veteran community we are closing our doors as of April 30, 2022. This is not completely sad, this is due to all the amazing new programs that have been established for our struggling Veteran families. So we are going to let them take the lead and do amazing things to uplift our brothers and sisters.
