The Colorado Veterans Resource Coalition (CVRC) is a 501(c)3 organization that provides safe, healthy emergency housing and community-based residential care, treatment and rehabilitative services for veterans who are homeless and/or suffer from chronic mental illness. The program serves qualified veterans (Honorable or General Under Honorable Conditions discharge) without regard to age, gender, race, religion, ethnicity or sexual orientation. CVRC helps homeless veterans get back on their feet and step back into the community.
CVRC's Crawford House program provides safe emergency housing for veterans in the Colorado Springs area who are homeless and receiving VA-provided mental health care. Veterans are also accepted from neighboring states for the rehab program. The Crawford House program is the only program of its kind in Colorado: a private, non-profit veterans' residential treatment facility.
Since the CVRC started providing housing and services in 2001, they have helped over 2,192 homeless veterans, of which 81% successfully completed their program requirements and moved into their own homes.
Donate Money. Financial support is a quick and easy way to help. We have a volunteer Board of Directors that ensures your gracious gift is used to further support of our Nation's Veterans. Read more about how your financial gifts are put to use and now!
Volunteer Your Time. Since almost everything we do is carried out by volunteers, we are always in need of help to ensure our programs and fund raisers are successful. This can only be assured through the generosity of people actively supporting these programs.
Donate Goods/Services. We seem to constantly be in short supply of jobs, bath towels, socks, office supplies, hygiene products, paper products, kitchen towels, new pillows and twin sheets. Gift cards to the ARC or Walmart are always welcome items. Your generous donation of these items are appreciated.
Spread the Word. Help us spread the word about our work in the community and the good things we do. Mention the CVRC to your friends, family and co-workers.
Pray. Please keep in your prayers the Veterans in the program, those waiting to get into this wonderful program, and all the volunteers that make this successful. We know we cannot succeed on our own.
Five Ways you can help.
